top 10 las vegas SPortsbooks
Ratings and Reviews updated as of July 2013
10. Planet Hollywood
Planet Hollywood is no stranger to Vegas sportsbook lists. While this book is not going to win any awards for being the biggest, much like Monte Carlo at number 9, it is the intimate surroundings that makes it appealing. For those who enjoy an exciting atmosphere, the famous "Party Pit" is only a short walk away. The biggest drawback is the poor drink service at the Planet Hollywood sportsbook. The positives include comfortable seating, a good "get away" from the party atmosphere in the Planet Hollywood, and the quality of the HD TV's they to offer.

9. Monte Carlo
The Monte Carlo Sportsbook is completely overshadowed by its competitors on the Strip. For many people, it may be surprising to see Monte Carlo on this list of Vegas sportsbooks but the underrated Monte Carlo makes the cut in this edition mainly because of customer service to the bettors. With an abundance of complimentary beverages and/or ample drink tickets, the Monte Carlo allows the bettor to relax and enjoy the laid back atmosphere. The comfortable seating, friendly staff, and drink perks make the Monte Carlo a surprise candidate for spending your game day. A drawback is the potential for limited seats during the larger events but both low rollers and high rollers can feel comfortable in this book. With decent food options nearby, the Monte Carlo sportsbook has more than meets the eye!

8. Mandalay bay
Mandalay Bay is often overlooked on the Vegas Strip due to its southern location. However, it should not be underestimated as a great location to place a bet or watch a sporting event. With an enormous selection of televisions and a creative array of betting options, Mandalay Bay makes the list on substance rather than flashiness. This sportsbook can pack in several hundred but the seating is not the most comfortable. That is remedied by the quality drink service and options. The Mandalay Bay Sportsbook is a nice option for game day.

7. Palazzo / Venetian
This selection at number 7 is less about the lines and admittedly more about the Lagasse Stadium. The environment at the Palazzo sportsbook provides for a truly memorable experience with an excellent selection of food and seating. This is one of the top places to be for big sporting events. The best thing about this venue is that the comfortable seating, great food, and plethora of televisions can be enjoyed by low rollers, high rollers, sports fans, and non-sports fans. If that's not enough, the Cantor gaming lines are usually more friendly and their parlay payouts are good. This is one of those locations that you have to at least try once to say you've "done it".

6. WYnn
The Wynn is an amazing spot to catch a game, place a bet, or relax with a beverage. The Wynn sportsbook is a very classy location that oozes opulence and comfort. There are numerous televisions to watch the game of your choice and great food choices are just steps away. The Wynn may be one of the most luxurious sportsbooks that you may step into. If you have not been to the sportsbook at the Wynn, you don't know what you are missing. This selection has potential to be higher, but the lack of comped drinks keeps it in the bottom 5.
